smoking in the building at any time, ever!

for my friend?
A: Leave them at the will-call window. It is
located outside at the Select Your Tickets
wickets.
Q: Is there any place
inside the building where I can buy tickets,
without having to go outside?
A: No, not at the moment.
Q: How many seats in
Manhattan Point can actually be used to watch
the Hockey game?
A: 65 individual ticketed seats are available in
the restaurant (the third row of the Pub-Club
seats) for viewing Rockets or Thunder games.
There are no tables from which you can actually
see the ice surface. See Manhattan Point FAQ, or
call Select Your Tickets at (250)
762-5050. During events however,
there is no watching from Manhattan Point.
Q: I’m watching the game
in a suite. Can I invite friends up to my suite
who just have regular tickets?
A: No. Only the Suite owner can pre-order extra
tickets for others. Under no circumstances can
non-suite ticket be used to get into a suite.
Q: Who do I talk to about
renting a Suite? How much does it cost to rent
one for a Rocket game?
A: -For Rocket games ask the Rockets (Gavin
Hamilton, 860-7825).
-For an event call Prospera Place and ask for
Pam Stewart (Guest Services Manager). Costs vary
due to ticket prices, events and demand.
Q: Why is the building so
cold? Can you turn up the heat?
A: The building is primarily an ice rink and the
temperature must be kept below freezing on the
floor. If you are sensitive to this issue be
sure to bring some warm clothes. When the ice is
removed during the summer (May to August)
coldness should not be an issue.
Q: Can I make a request
for my favourite song to be played between
periods at a Rocket game? Can I dedicate it to
somebody?
A: Notify the Rockets and they will try their
best to see what they can do, phone 860-7825,
fax 860-7880.
Q: How early should I come
to the arena before a sold out show?
A: As doors do not open until 1 hour prior to
the event we do not recommend lining up early
for sold out events, especially during the
winter due to the cold and other potential
health related problems. If you must however,
approximately 1-2 hours is always safe for an
early spot in line. If you have reserved seats
then there is no reason to come early – you are
guaranteed those seats anyways.
Q: Will we be providing
wheelchairs for the handicap or the elderly?
A: No, we do not provide any wheelchairs in the
arena. Please plan ahead if you need to use one
for an event.
Q: Is there any way to
have somebody paged during a game or event?
A: No, not unless it’s an absolute emergency.
